Job Summary:

Encore Pavement is a full-service concrete and asphalt paving company headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. We serve commercial, industrial and

Work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8AM to 2:30PM.

Pay is $19.00/hr.

March 1st start date.

Encore Pavement is seeking an Administrative Assistant who is dedicated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, provides a high level of service, and welcomes challenges.

This position will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of HR, payroll and tasks associated with managing the office.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Receptionist duties include assisting customers, answering phones, submitting incoming bid requests, and booking travel for crews.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and maintenance.
  • Ensure all timekeeping entries are correct, track timely submissions to avoid items that might adversely impact prompt and accurate payroll processing; communicate with employees regarding timecard and payroll issues as they arise.
  • Process routine payroll activities weekly, to include reviewing timecards for accuracy and completeness and assisting in payroll process as needed.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and maintenance.
  • Other cross-functional support to back up administrative personnel will be performed.


Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications - Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Aptitude for learning and highly organized
  • Previous payroll processing experience preferred.
  • Capacity to prioritize workload while navigating a variety of competing and ever-changing priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate consistent follow-through and follow-up.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
