Job Summary

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at the University of Utah. This role represents a premier opportunity to be at the forefront of a successful partnership dedicated to elevating the student dining experience through innovative programs and services. As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing customized marketing plans and solutions to promote our dining programs on campus.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, maintain guest satisfaction, and promote the campus dining brand. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a variety of marketing efforts, from social and digital media campaigns to event planning and community engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement customized marketing plans to promote dining programs on campus, focusing on revenue growth and guest satisfaction.
Brand Management: Ensure adherence to Chartwells brand standards across all dining programs on campus, including visual merchandising, guest experience platforms, and brand identity.
Communication and Public Relations: Lead all communication and public relations efforts for campus dining programs, including managing guest feedback, press releases, presentations, and website maintenance.
Social Media Management: Drive social and digital media efforts through engaging storytelling and content creation.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities and results to optimize performance and effectiveness.
Campus Engagement: Foster positive relationships with key campus connections to align dining programs with university initiatives and drive satisfaction and retention.
Community Partnerships: Work in partnership with the campus community to support awareness of dining programs, including sustainability efforts, nutritional programming, and residential dining experience.
Support New Business: Assist in new business and retention efforts to drive growth and success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Hospitality Management
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Ability to present to large groups
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to direct implementation and produce positive outcomes by working through teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
