Job Description:

Summary

Under general supervision, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Production Team with duties required to ensure the accurate and effective preparation of jobs. This includes but is not limited to receipt, inventory, maintenance and inspection of tooling and materials.

Essential Functions

This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

* Responsible for daily review of the production schedule to ensure job staged and prepared for production. Updates schedule status as required.

* Responsible for the management of the tooling program including receipt and inspection, labelling and inventorying, maintenance and review and reorder when needed, and accurate and timely staging for production.

* Maintains raw material inventory and ensure accurate movement and tracking of material status in the Radius system.

* Stages skids using a pallet jack.

* Completes monthly materials inventories and cycle counts utilizing approved process and procedure.

* Follows docket instructions.

* Follows standard operating procedures as established by the company.

* Safely operates forklifts and push jacks.

* Uses Radius production management system to accurately record time and materials data. Accurately scans inks, paper, foil, etc. into the system and scans materials out of the system when the job is complete.

* Maintains accurate materials inventory.

* Operates re-wind table.

* Participates with cleanup and maintenance duties including: trash bins, recycle bins, skid storage, washing inks pans and general housekeeping.

* Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and hazard free throughout entire shift.

* Cleans up work area after each job and uses proper handling of all tooling.

* Observes recycling guidelines and limits waste of materials and supplies.

* Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

* Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate

* Prior employment experience.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.

* Required to work rotating shifts and overtime.

* Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

* Skilled in writing simple correspondence.

* Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of manufacturing experience or training.

* Required to pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100-Hue Color Vision Test with a score of 75 or below.

* Prior print manufacturing job experience.

* Experience with Production Management System (Radius), Desktop PC, Excel, Word and Outlook.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to occassionally life and move up to 70 pounds.

Compensation



  1. Hiring Hourly Rate: $21.44 -$25.19
  2. Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
