Roof Services, a Tecta America Company is seeking a motivated, hardworking laborer to assist the roofing crew in various tasks to ensure roofing projects are completed efficiently and safely. In this position, you will work closely with experienced roofers to assist with installation, repairs, and maintenance. This entry level position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn the roofing industry while contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist crew in installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofs
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare work areas by ensuring sites are clean and safe
• Assist in removal of old materials
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks for materials and tools
• Assist with keeping jobsite clean by disposing of waste materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Participate in inspections to assist with identifying issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction or roofing is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials
• Comfortable with heights and using safety equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work as a team and convey a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required.

Physical requirements do include ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, lift for long periods of time, being comfortable with heights, and working with ladders.
