****Please Note: This position will be posted through Wednesday, February 5th, 2024********** Goodwill's Material Handlers are an integral part of our production team!! Material Handlers keep our production moving by using electric forklifts and/or pallet jacks to stage portions of our production flow (i.e., gaylords, pallets, tubs, etc.) matching them with the members of the production team to maximize efficiency. Goodwill of Colorado is seeking adaptable and experienced candidates to join our team for our new Montrose Retail store, set to open in March 2025. Prior experience with a forklift is a plus! A pre-employment drug screen will be required and the minimum age for this position is 18. You will complete training at our Grand Junction Retail location and play a vital role in the store's initial operations. This position is instrumental in ensuring a successful launch. JOB SUMMARY: The Material Handler, Retail will support Goodwill's mission by generating revenue to help people overcome barriers to economic and personal independence through education, training, and job placement programs. The Associate will primarily work in a production environment moving, storing, and retrieving donated products following Goodwill's warehousing and material handling procedures and guidelines.
