Shifts Available and Hours: Dayshift (Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting in installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, and equipment. This role has responsibility in executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs, directs team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment, supports product development and improvements.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical understanding and ability across a broad spectrum of technical areas (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
  • Capability to learn the CMMS, Oracle and other programs related to this assignment.
  • Must possess the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and outside agencies.
  • Leadership qualities to motivate individuals including but not limited to strong communication, problem solving, interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Leadership qualities to develop partnerships with operations department leadership.
  • Qualities to lead a diverse team of multiple crafts.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in an industrial manufacturing setting preferred
  • High degree of knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and modify preventative maintenance programs while ensuring safety measures and proper training for team members.
  • Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and repair or replace manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.
  • Oversee, direct, and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with the manufacturing schedule and efficiency of team labor.
  • Collaborate with management, engineering, and quality teams to resolve maintenance issues and escalate serious concerns with proposed solutions.
  • Develop and enhance the technical skills of team members and update SOPs and work instructions as needed.
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts, completing all required paperwork accurately.
  • Assist in establishing maintenance best practices and perform additional duties as assigned.
