Figma's Solutions Consulting team is comprised of a group of hard-working, dynamic, creative, and technical professionals. The team sits within Sales and helps to successfully expand our customer base by demonstrating the value of the Figma platform and painting the vision of what is technically possible. We are looking for a Director, Solutions Consulting to lead our global function consisting of four managers and twenty-two Solutions Consultants. In this role, you will define and implement our strategy for how we partner with Sales, engage with customers, influence new business, and scale for even greater impact. At Figma, we think creatively, lift constraints that block our creativity everyday, and we expect you to do the same. You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Customer Experience.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:



  • Build, develop, and inspire and organization of dedicated, hard-working Solutions Consultants and leaders by creating scalable, data-driven processes that drive team and company goals
  • Partner with Sales leadership to achieve sales targets across regions and ensure successful customer outcomes both pre- and post-sales
  • Analyze and manage the performance of our Solutions Consulting function, including influenced ARR and activity metrics
  • Develop, refine and scale core SC processes such as discovery, technical qualification and POCs/trials and establish initiatives to continue up-leveling our Solutions Consultants
  • Act as the technical executive to align with customer executives and collaborators for relationship building and to help advance open opportunities
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop the Solutions Consulting leadership team
  • Leverage customer feedback and outcomes to collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape product improvements
  • Participate in regional industry events/organizations as a thought leader


We'd love to hear from you if you have:



  • 10+ years of experience in a Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or related function
  • 5+ years of direct people management experience (hiring, training, and retaining top talent)
  • Experience working with large enterprise companies and an understanding of common technical/security needs and buying processes
  • Proven track record of leading and growing high performing teams and coaching them toward meeting or exceeding performance expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute strategy, build cross-functional buy-in, and iterate based on data and insights
  • Strong understanding of our technical and competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a constantly evolving and growing environment


While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:



  • Experience with MEDDICC sales qualification framework
  • Prior Figma, design or development experience

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma's San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):
$228,000 $308,000 USD
