Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Patient Access Lead to:



  • Oversee the daily operations of specific work units within the Patient Access Department.
  • Partner closely with supervisors to provide leadership coverage and presence to the registration and admissions work units in the clinics and the hospital divisions.
  • Ensure effective operations by organizing, scheduling, and monitoring the department workload.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Info Management, or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 1 year of experience in a patient access, healthcare revenue cycle, or clinic operations role Required
  • 2 years of experience in a patient access, healthcare revenue cycle, or clinic operations role with progressive leadership responsibilities Preferred
