Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$85,300.00to$142,200.00. This position is eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

The range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills. The anticipated compensation range described above is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.

Position Details:

This position will assist in planning, executing, and optimizing email and grainger.com marketing assets. You will be responsible for identifying and supporting channel optimizations and Customer objective growth with a focus on targeted mid-funnel objectives.

You Will:

Email

  • Develop customer-centric email strategies based on data-driven customer needs, customer objectives, and analytics
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer strategy teams to build and optimize email strategies/executions that will fulfill a customer need and advance business and marketing goals
  • Assist in managing the end-to-end email strategy, asset creation, and campaign execution, including KPI identification, campaign set up, and list segmentation across promotional and trigger campaigns
  • Responsible for QAing email assets, linking, and product availability to ensure a flawless customer experience
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance program customer engagement and responsiveness through testing efforts
  • Responsible for reporting and sharing insights for the campaigns executed on a regular cadence
  • Stay up to date on latest trends, technologies, and developments within digital marketing and competitive landscape; research and integrate relevant best practices, industry trends and platform updates

Grainger.com Marketing Assets

  • Assist in managing the GCOM Marketing asset strategy - planning, prioritization, governance, and measurement
  • Identify opportunities for personalization efforts and testing on GCOM aligned to the customer objectives and email experience
  • Identify opportunities to drive traffic to GCOM when appropriate
  • Responsible for reporting and sharing insights for the GCOM assets executed on a regular cadence
  • Collaborate closely with Creative team on landing page and assets creation

You Have:

  • Passion for customer-centric marketing, customer segmentation, and building and launching digital campaigns
  • Strong understanding of email best practices, i.e. CAN-SPAM laws, content creation, list management and targeting, knowledge of dynamic content and campaign automation
  • Experience with customer segmentation and personalization testing
  • Ability to exhibit strong collaborative, team working, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail and project management skills to successfully juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, results oriented environment
  • Proactive, can-do approach to problem-solving
  • Industry knowledge - newest trends, new technologies, email personalization
