Job Description

Danfoss in Easley, SC is hiring a Team Lead for 3rd Shift. The Manufacturing Lead will advise Team Coordinators on work that is to be completed and assist in the prioritization and scheduling of work. The lead will be responsible for making sure due dates for production orders are met, that quality product is passed to subsequent operations and that production processes are operating in accordance with established standards.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



  • Coordinate with production planning function to prioritize production requirements
  • Assign work to others and assure due dates are met.
  • Provide cross shift coordination on priorities, work loads
  • Ensure cross-training is conducted to enable worker flexibility. Work with full-time trainers to raise skill sets of work force.
  • Provide positive communication of objectives, projects, changes and programs
  • Support employee engagement efforts by providing feedback on results and giving input to planning efforts
  • Process scrap tickets, ensuring data accuracy. Provide input to scrap reduction efforts based on causes and sources
