* Support the growth of the engineering group's capabilities for production vehicle and new technology development * Support the execution of the engineering group's goals and objectives through to successful completion * Support inter-team collaborations and knowledge sharing through transparent communications * Create and deliver engineering reports and presentations on short term and long-term work activities * Remain current with new technology and competitive products as a means to drive innovations * Provide engineering support for electrified propulsion system related concerns for both pre-production and post-production issues * Perform engineering activities related to: o Development or identification of new technologies, strategies, and methods for improving the fuel economy and performance of current and future Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis production hybrid and battery electric vehicles o Test and evaluation of various electrified propulsion system components such as electric machines, and power electronics o Feasibility analysis of new electrified system technologies through on-road evaluations and data collection o Creating and organizing standard engineering documents for efficient work processes
