Duration: 12+months contract

  • What are the main functions of this role?
  • 2nd shift RF electrical engineer production support


Job Description:

  • Experience with RF and/or mixed signal electronics testing and hands on experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies.
  • Experience with RF measurements, i.e. phase noise, spurious, S and X parameters, ETC.
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment, i.e. DMM, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer and phase noise analyzer.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, test instructions, test requirements to be able to root cause failures and provide disposition.


Desired Skill Sets:

  • Self-starter, work independently. Well versed with high performance Digital Receiver and Exciters (DREX) and mixed signal processing electronics unit RF CCAs, environmental test equipment, production test equipment, and RF hardware and software integration and test. Able to translate between requirements and test results to disposition hardware failures.


Experience Required (if any):

  • 5 Years Experience +


Education Level Required:

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Combination of Technical Degree and relevant experience may be considered.


How will the contractor's success be measured?

  • Test, troubleshoot and problem resolution of electrical RF hardware.


Culture:

  • Team and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines as needed to resolve issues in a collaborative environment.
