POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Expert Project Manager, IT Project Management reports to the Corporate Director, ERP & Applications Development
  • Located in Chicago, IL

As an Expert Project Manager in IT Project Management, you will leverage your extensive experience to lead and execute transformative IT projects with precision and strategic vision. In this senior role, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering complex initiatives, driving organizational success through effective project management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Project Planning and Execution:



  • Develop and implement advanced strategic project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the execution of complex IT projects within established scope, schedule, and budget constraints.


Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:



  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and challenges.


Team Leadership and Development:



  • Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members, contributing to their professional development.


Advanced Risk Management and Mitigation:



  • Identify, assess, and manage complex project risks, developing and implementing robust mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.


Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence:



  • Oversee advanced quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
  • Monitor and control project deliverables to meet established quality standards.


Budget and Resource Management:



  • Manage complex project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor and control project expenses, optimizing resource usage.


Project Documentation and Reporting:



  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, and issue logs.
  • Generate comprehensive and insightful status reports for stakeholders.


Continuous Improvement and Innovation:



  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project management.
  • Lead initiatives to implement best practices and advanced methodologies.


Strategic Vision and Leadership:



  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for IT projects, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's overall IT strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • 8 - 12 years of experience in project management, with a focus on managing complex IT projects, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent advanced certification is required.
  • Proficiency in advanced project management tools and software.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of IT project management.
  • Demonstrated innovation mindset to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
