STS Line Maintenance is hiring an A&P Line Maintenance Station Manager in Miami, Florida.


Position Summary:

The Station Manager is responsible to the Regional Director for the overall day-to-day operationof their local repair station or site and is also a working technician.


Position Responsibilities:

  • To ascertain that adequate firefighting equipment is available for use at the location where therepair station is accomplishing maintenance.
  • Managing incoming parts, materials and shelf life items.
  • The planning, direction, and coordination of all maintenance activities within their location /station per this RSQSM and all regulatory requirements, both domestic and foreign.
  • Ensuring that the repair and coordination of articles and items within the Station Manager'sjurisdiction is accomplished within the authority of the repair station. Ensure the work performed is signed for by aqualified technician or supervisor, and if the item is designated as an RII, it is inspected by an authorized inspector.
  • Ensuring station technicians have the required technical data for articles repaired by the repairstation, which will include one-time use task orientated air carrier's job/task cards, servicebulletins, parts specifications, ICAs, related Federal Aviation Administration approved data,airworthiness directives, and any other technical data used to accomplish required linemaintenance.
  • The maintenance of all equipment and tools located at their station in a serviceable workingcondition. This will include the monthly electronic or manual auditing of Calibrated tooling,receiving inspections on new parts and equipment and the monthly inspection of local Shelf Life-Limited consumables, if applicable, on RSF-007 for their station.
  • Review and approve all WORP entries and KRONOS timesheet entries on time for accuracy andcompleteness.
  • Ensures local repair station personnel follow all regulations as set forth by the Air Carrier, STS,and the FAA.
  • Manages the training required to maintain the Consolidation Roster, RSF-018 current.
  • Identify the needs assessment of and arranging technician's training based on carriers.
  • Ensure all eating and drinking is forbidden from the area of items being worked on.
  • Ensuring that all forms used by the repair station are properly executed prior to releasing thearticle for return to service. All entries are documented in WORP and accompanying documentsof evidence are uploaded as attachments.
  • Determining that no un-airworthy articles are installed or released for install by the repair station.
  • Assist, supervise, and direct all personnel assigned to accomplish inspection functions.
  • Providing for continuity of maintenance and inspection responsibility, assuring completion ofrequired inspection when personnel shift or assignment changes occur.
  • Currency of air carrier RII approved inspectors list IAW SECTION 145-Q-5.
  • The operation of the stockroom IAW RSQSM SECTION 145-Q-5 requirements for the receiving inspection, shelf life, hardware and equipment storage programs and therefore is responsible for.

The Lead will assume all responsibilities of the Station Manager when the Station Manager isnot available.


Rate of Pay:

  • Rate of pay is determined by previous experience and formal training, and will range between $105,000 and $112,000 annual salary, DOE .
