Basic Job Functions:
- Our Workforce Development Internship is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about manufacturing and training that is looking to gain hands on experience. In this role the intern will be working closely with team members to learn production processes and work closely with experts to create, development and implement training for our manufacturing workforce. This is an in-person opportunity (not remote) at our Perrysburg, Ohio facility.
Education/Experience:
- Currently working towards a Bachelor of Science (4-year program), or Master of Science or PhD degree
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Power Point
- Technical report writing, data entry, AutoCAD, preferred

Required Skills/Competencies:
- Communication and organizational skills. Ability to take direction, identify problems, and develop solutions in collaboration with others.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Continuous improvement for Preventive Maintenance System, Maintenance Program (Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance)
- Coordinate with Supervisor to set up 5S for Maintenance Workshop.
- Upon the completion of this internship, the intern is required to present their accomplishments and project summary to the leadership team.

Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to Equipment Engineer III
- This position will not have direct reports.
Travel:
- Travel between the Perrysburg plants is required.
- No long-distance travel is required.
Estimated Salary Range:
- Estimated Salary Range: $18-$39/hr.

- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift.
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis.
- Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basis.

- 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards).
- All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).
