Overview: This role is responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet or exceed agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role requires analytical expertise, strong communication skills, and a results-driven mindset to ensure optimal vendor performance that aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Vendor Performance Management:


    • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against established KPIs and SLAs
    • Analyse data and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to vendors


  • Contract Compliance:


    • Ensure vendors comply with contractual obligations, including delivery timelines, quality standards and service commitments
    • Identify and address any deviations from contract terms in a timely manner


  • Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and alignment with company goals
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and issue resolution
    • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment on expectations




  • Risk Management:


    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to vendor performance or compliance issues
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies and contingency plans
    • Ensure vendors adhere to company standards and ethical practices


  • Reporting and Documentation:


    • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on vendor performance for internal stakeholders and leadership
    • Maintain up-to-date records of vendor evaluations, contracts, and performance reviews


  • Cross Functional Collaboration:


    • Work closely with procurement, operations, and other departments to ensure vendors are aligned with organisational needs
    • Provide input during vendor selection processes to ensure alignment with performance standards





Qualifications:



  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
    • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders across multiple geographies and functional specialisms




  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
    • Familiarity with SLA and KPI frameworks, with a demonstrated ability to monitor and enforce them effectively
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent contract management skills
    • Proficiency in vendor management software and procurement tools
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements
    • Broad understanding of current technologies
    • Highly proficient reporting and presenting of data to senior management

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

In addition, this role

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$177,900 $266,900 USD
