Rehab Supervisor - Home Care- 40 hours/week

Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all rehabilitation services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) appropriate to the age of the patients served for the Home Care Department, including the Rehabilitation/HHA Scheduler. He/she provides supervision of the rehabilitation staff and direct Physical Therapy services on occasion. He/she works under the direction of the Manager of Home Care. This position is also responsible for direct supervision of all Home Health Aides.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy.
• Experience
  • Minimum of three years experience as a therapist in a hospital, rehabilitation facility, or home health agency.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • Current Licensure to practice Physical Therapy, occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy in Massachusetts.
  • BLS for the healthcare provider.
• Skills
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with the staff of the Hospital, physicians and patients/families.
  • Strong computer, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations as related to delivery of care.
