About the Role Impact you will make FinThrive is looking for an experienced Vice President, Portfolio Marketing to develop and execute market strategies that position the company as a recognized leader in Revenue Cycle Management. Reporting to the CMO, you will be a primary marketing lead for commercial success at FinThrive, partnering with Product Management, Sales and Customer Success to collaborate on integrated go-to-market (GTM) strategies that deliver an optimal and differentiated customer experience. In this critical and highly strategic role, you will motivate and inspire a growing team of product marketing, Voice of Customer, market and customer intelligence, and go-to-market enablement professionals to help FinThrive and our customers achieve their goals. What you will do
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to develop a high-performance team of marketers who will be FinThrive's customer/audience, solution, and industry marketing SMEs
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the ideal market segments/customer profiles to optimize FinThrive's revenue opportunities and deliver successful customer outcomes
- Work closely with the Product and Strategy teams to create and manage an extensive knowledge base of competitive and market data, leveraging these insights to support and influence product roadmap decisions, segmentation and GTM strategies
- Own the strategic marketing plan for all market segments, including customer segmentation and ideal customer profile (ICP) development, GTM strategies, key messaging frameworks, pipeline targets, buyer journey optimization, and other relevant portfolio marketing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Work with Product Management to share relevant customer and market insights that ensure our portfolio vision is addressing the most pressing problems facing our customers and target end markets
- Strategize and implement effective GTM programs that arm our customer-facing teams with the messaging, resources and initiatives needed to compete and win in a competitive market
- Manage and nurture relationships with industry analysts, research firms and industry associations
- Partner with Sales Operations to collaborate on enablement programs and resources that position our field teams for success
- Gather key customer and buyer insights related to buyer needs and buyer journey dynamics
- Ensure an active feedback loop on customer value metrics and outcomes across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product
- Manage launch planning and orchestrate the commercial release of new products and enhancements.
- Support a voice of customer team and initiatives such as advocacy engagement and recruitment, our reference program, FinThrive's customer advisory board, product innovation councils, customer research, and other customer engagement programs
- Manage FinThrive's Revenue Cycle Management Technology Adoption Model (RCMTAM) program internally and with external partners
- Proactively collaborate with other Marketing functions (Brand, Revenue Marketing/Demand, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, Communications, Creative, etc.), Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Customer Experience and beyond to achieve key business objectives
What you will bring
- Natual leadership ability; knowing how to balance passion, empathy and grit to build a culture that's accountable, performance-driven and motivated by opportunity
- 15+ years of experience leading multi-function teams with a focus on product or segment marketing, go to market strategy and customer data insights
- Experience leading an enterprise product or segment marketing team with a deep understanding of the customer buying cycle, product management lifecycle, and sales methodologies
- Experience in SaaS
- Aptitude as a natural leader who knows how to balance passion, empathy and grit to build a company culture that's accountable, performance-driven and motivated by opportunity
- Proven ability to effectively leverage data to support and inform decisions
- Proven ability to effectively present to C-level audiences with the ability to communicate vision, positioning, differentiators, competitive strengths, customer segment value propositions, and market trends
- Strong collaboration skillset with the ability to partner exceptionally well at all levels and across all functions
