Description

Material Handler

As a member of our Production division to provide daily support in locating, storing, and transporting materials needed for manufacturing.

Responsibilities:



  • Operate fork truck to move product within company facilities
  • Assist team leaders in locating raw stock, reeling components and boxes
  • Position raw stock, reeling components and boxes in the warehouse
  • Responsible for the overall orderly set-up of the warehouse
  • Responsible for the orderly storage and segregation of all scrap in the

    appropriate location until sold
  • Provide for the safety and security of the warehouse
  • Perform inventory transactions to keep inventory levels updated
  • Organize material for staging work
  • Deliver all necessary raw stock to the proper locations before stock runs out


Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Prior experience operating a fork lift preferred. Must be willing to earn fork lift certification
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to accuracy
  • Self-motivated, able to work effectively under pressure
  • Good computer skills
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, driving fork truck, frequent bending, ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Shift availability: daylight
