Responsibilities

WHAT YOU DO

You oversee all Finance operations of the hotel under the Director of Finance as a steward of the ownership's investment. You analyze and offer strategic advice for increasing the profitability of the hotel and reducing expenses. Reporting, forecasting and reconciliation are all part of your day-to-day work. You coach and train the other members of the finance team to understand financial reports and any necessary software.

You hire, train and develop talented associates who meet and often exceed your high standards of accuracy, confidentiality and service. People rely on you to proof their work, because they know you will catch and resolve any errors. You are motivated by understanding and believing in the purpose of your work and applying logic and data to solve problems and make the hotel successful. You have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and ideally experience with M-3 Accounting Systems. You've utilized Profit Sage Budget/Forecast and Daily Reporting systems or a similar system. You are proficient with ADP, Lightspeed, Micros. Local candidates with knowledge of Nashville Sales/Occupancy/Use tax reporting and rules are preferred.
