Summary Statement

We have joined Ottobock Patient Care's excellent network of orthotics and prosthetics clinics and have rebranded as Carolina Ottobock.care.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Liaison in the greater Charleston,SC area. The Clinical Liaison is an associate level market development role that helps drive sales and marketing efforts by creating long lasting relationships with referral sources for our patient care facilities. The role includes working closely with patients and their families to educate and inform them of the process of care needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and referral sources.
  • Educate patients and healthcare professionals about prosthetic and orthotic products and services.
  • Coordinate patient care plans, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
  • Assist in the fitting and adjustment of prosthetic and orthotic devices, where allowed.
  • Provide support to clinical and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in marketing and outreach activities to promote services.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of MS Office and databases.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding company financial and other information.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without continual supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; Experience may be substituted for education.
  • 0-5 years of experience in the orthotics and prosthetics field or related healthcare field.
  • Experience successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Understanding of medical terminology preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid preferred
