As the Site HR Leader for Launch Site One (LSO) in Van Horn, Texas, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a high-performing workforce and ensuring seamless HR support for all site employees and operations. LSO is a fast-paced environment where you'll work autonomously and collaboratively to address diverse business and employee needs, from workforce planning and site-specific perks to crisis management for launches and engine testing.

Responsibilities:
Act as the HR point of contact for all employees at LSO, addressing morale, engagement, and site-specific needs regardless of reporting relationships. Collaborate with site leadership and HRBP teams to align HR strategies with operational goals. Lead site-level workforce planning, including managing shift configurations and ensuring workforce readiness to meet business demands. Develop and support strategies to recruit, retain, and upskill employees for site-specific needs. Champion site-specific benefits and perks to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. Foster an inclusive, positive work environment through proactive engagement and relationship building. Serve as a critical member of the Crisis Management Team during launches and engine testing, ensuring alignment between HR and operational priorities. Provide coaching to leaders and employees, resolve employee relations concerns, and manage investigations in alignment with Blue Origin policies and applicable laws. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies. Analyze HR metrics, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve organizational effectiveness. Collaborate with leadership to anticipate and address workforce challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of HR generalist experience, including employee/labor relations, workforce planning, and leadership coaching. At least 2 years of experience in high-tech, manufacturing, or similarly dynamic environments. Strong knowledge of employment laws (e.g., FLSA, ADA, EEOC) and a demonstrated ability to manage investigations and employee relations with professionalism and discretion. Exceptional communication, project management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Proven ability to build trust, influence leaders, and navigate complex situations with tact and sound judgment. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
