The Command Support Group Manager for the Contract at the US Army Electronic Proving Ground, Ft Huachuca, AZ provides critical leadership and management for over 50 personnel within the Command Support Group. The Group provides daily logistics, supply, facilities and communication support to TEAM EPG, ensuring the operational readiness and viability of the entire range operation. The Command Support Group Manager is a key member of the Program Manager's Leadership Team, providing strategic planning, leadership, management and advice. Educational/Training Requirements: Extensive experience with a variety of support operations concepts, practices, and procedures, including Logistics, Facilities Maintenance and Repair, TMDE Calibration, Motor Pool Operations, Supply Operations, Government Furnished Property and Materials Management, etc. Provides oversight and guidance for all EPG Command Support operations to include communications and infrastructure Project Management certification and/or supervisory experience in work related to support operations is preferred Physical Demands: (Indicate any special requirements, e.g., walking, lifting, travel requirements, etc.) This may involve airline travel. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion Note: The duties specified in this position description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
