DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, provides front desk support by performing variety of clerical and receptionist duties in support of daily patient services within clinical areas: greets patients, check in and check out procedures. Oversees, coordinates and performs general front office functions, to include, but not limited to: reception, scheduling, and processing of COEM patients. Directs work flow in the front office and provides work direction to other staff working in that area. Oversees cashiering process. Provides front office training and assesses quality assurance of work product in that area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three (3) years of related experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Excellent communication skills required.

  • Skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with patient check-in and cash handling.
  • Experience updating Registration.
  • Able to work between multiple systems during calls.
  • Occupational Health experience.
  • Workers Compensation experience.
  • Epic-Cadence experience.
  • Familiar with Lean process.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
  • Systems - Artera and AWS phone systems.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
