Must be a team player with positive attitude, strong work ethic, flexibility, and willingness to take personal ownership of projects and see them through to completion. Position requires travel to plant and mine sites across Western US as needed. Outdoor work in active mining sites in variety of weather conditions is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Oversee development and management of short and long-term mine modeling and plans.

- Advise and support aggregate operations in selection, design, construction and management of plants, equipment and facilities, including:



  • Plant design and layout drawings.
  • Plant process evaluation, improvements, and optimization of existing operations, acquisitions, and greenfield sites.
  • AggFlow crushing and washing plant and conveying system simulations for the above items.
  • Mechanical design and fabrication drawings for improvements, repairs, and updates to plant equipment and structures.
  • Advise on capex projects, assist with budgets for equipment upgrades, improvements, and design.
  • Aggregate Stockpile management/planning.



Required Skills, Experience and Credentials:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering related to aggregate mining and mining equipment.

- Minimum 10 years full-time professional experience in surface mining, reclamation planning, site development planning and material processing operations.

- Must have the ability to oversee and manage the development of high- quality mine plans and plant designs.

- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Must have proficient skills in CAD design, Excel, Carlson, and other computer software.

- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects effectively without close supervision.
