Job Title: Vendor Strategy Program Manager

SR intends to invest over $150 million in this new strategy, including development of new facilities, platforms, and programs. The Vendor Strategy Program Manager will report to the Director of Platform Informatics. The Vendor Strategy Program Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating complex clinicogenomics data integration projects. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and healthcare industry knowledge. Key Responsibilities
Project Management
* Work with cross-functional teams in the execution of data integration projects
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
* Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success
Technical Leadership
* Oversee the implementation of EMR/EHR integrations and clinical data model transformations
* Guide the development of SMART on FHIR apps and other healthcare data interoperability solutions
* Ensure technical solutions meet regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance
* Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
Strategic Planning
* Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for clinicogenomics data operations
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption
* Align project goals with overall organizational objectives and core values
Team Management
* Mentor and guide team members in their professional development
* Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
* Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT or bioinformatics, with at least 3 years in a project management role
* Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) and genomic data formats
* Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
Preferred
* Familiarity with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations
