(NYSE:APD), a World-Class manufacturer of Industrial Gases, is seeking and Operations Technician at its Joliet, IL facility. The Operator Technician is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) in the production of Hydrogen (H2) and Steam for the on-site customer. Operations Technicians will work alongside the Operations team, Maintenance Technicians, Instrument Technicians, Site Leadership and other support personnel to ensure successful operation. Responsibilities: The Operator Technician is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) in the production of Hydrogen (H2) and Steam for the on-site customer. Operations Technicians will work alongside the Operations team, Maintenance Technicians, Instrument Technicians, Site Leadership and other support personnel to ensure successful operation. Work Hours Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift, including nights and weekends, respond to call-out situations.
