The Decision, Risk, and Operations Division at Columbia Business School is seeking to hire qualified faculty members for tenure-track appointments at the assistant professor level. The Division has teaching responsibilities for management science, statistics, and operations management courses at the MBA and Ph.D. levels. Applicants for an assistant professor level appointment should have, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. from an accredited institution, demonstrate promise of becoming an outstanding scholar in every respect, including research and teaching, and should combine exceptional disciplinary training with a strong interest in the professional mission of the school. Columbia Business School is particularly interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching and/or service will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Please note, the priority deadlines have changed as of September 10, 2024. Priority will be given to applications that are submitted prior to October 18, 2024. For applicants that will be attending the INFORMS Annual Conference in Seattle, it is highly recommended that they submit their initial materials (CV and statements) by October 7, 2024.
