Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound automated calls to secure payments on delinquent accounts. You will also make manual outbound calls to responsible party contacts to secure payments on delinquent accounts. Critical thinking is essential to analyze processes and provide a better member experience. You should be open to feedback and coaching opportunities to continually improve your skills. Additionally, you will provide positive feedback and encouragement to teammates to help them better their skills. You will interpret information and provide valuable financial solutions regarding delinquent accounts, and educate members on the differences between Credit Counseling Agencies and Debt Settlement companies. Training Schedule: * 8:00am - 5:00pm M-F (5 weeks) * On-the-job training (OJT) for another 4 weeks (9 total) Work Schedule: * 8-hour shift between 9am-7pm CST * Saturdays mandatory with Fridays off (M-Th, Sat) * Training will be onsite, and once OJT is completed, you will be able to work remotely 1 day a week (your choice) Skills * 2+ years of experience in collections/call center * 2+ years of experience with inbound phone calls * Comfortable making outbound calls Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
