As a valued business partner, the SFA will collaborate, lead, and advise; providing financial and analytical data to support operations, and will assist the business with the financial reporting and consolidation process. You will also create value by providing actionable manufacturing analysis, cost analysis and benchmark reporting, as well as project tracking for management to improve the competitive position of the facility. Location This role will support our Pacific NW locations and will be based at our mill in Halsey, OR. At our plants and mills, and in Atlanta, we work a schedule that includes 4 to 5 in office days a week. Our Team Our Financial Planning & Analysis team is made up of individuals that provide support to 125+ operating locations across the US, as well as at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA. What We Do We focus on supporting our manufacturing teams with reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and identifying cost savings opportunities. You will also partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and transformation. We serve as the primary financial business partners for our sites and our division. What You Will Do * Primarily focus on direct costs, production and indirect costs at the mill level and effectively gather data sources and communicate results, trends, and variances to internal customers * Manufacturing and Commercial Analysis: KPI analysis, cost analysis, benchmark reporting, bet tracking, etc. * Month end financial reporting, consolidation of reporting and analysis, variance analysis, and commentary * Build interactive reports and dashboards that translates data into actionable insights that can be easily understood by key stakeholders. * Ownership of planning and forecasting activities in support of multiple facilities * Provide transparent economic evaluations and analytical support, based in economic reality, to decision owners on business proposals for capital investment, major expenses, strategic initiatives, ad hoc operations projects, etc. * Collaborate with Plant Leadership to identify opportunities; develop and prioritize strategies that drive value creation and advance the current state * Proactively build mutually beneficial relationships with others, to better understand and utilize the resources available to the business * Advance the Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Values Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience in a financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, operations finance, or related role(s) that demonstrates understanding and application of financial concepts, economic principles, marginal analysis, variance analysis, and key business drivers * Contribution/Collaboration mindset: Youseekto build working relationships and partner with others to bridge gaps and solve problems * Transformation focused: You embrace and lead change and look to standardize and optimize work products * Systems and Tools savvy: You can source and work with large volumes of data from multiple systems and use MS Excel and other tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view * Confident Communicator: You have experience presenting financial concepts to various audiences and you engage effectively with your stakeholders What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field * Finance/Operations Accounting experience in a Manufacturing organization * Advanced MS Excel skills (statistical modeling, forecasting, graphs, charts, pivots, macros) * Experience with data analysis/visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik) * Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems Check us out!
