This is a non-career-track (non-tenure eligible) adjunct lecturer position in the Department of Economics, Eller College of Management. The Department seeks an adjunct lecturer with expertise in the area of digital markets for a new asynchronous Master's program in Economics with an emphasis on Digital Markets. The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona is a leading business school in the United States. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Teach one to two online economics courses, or the equivalent, each semester.
- Prepare course syllabi and notes.
- Grade assignments and grade exams.
- Hold office hours.
- Supervise Teaching Assistants, if assigned to you.
- Additional duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's in economics or a related field.
- Two or more years of teaching experience, including as an assistant, in Economics.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, evidenced by course evaluations, teaching awards, or other means.

Preferred Qualifications |
- PhD in economics or a related field.
- Five or more years of teaching experience, including as an assistant, in Economics.
- Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.
- Expertise in the area of digital markets (database management, machine learning, digital auctions, A/B testing, platforms and two-sided markets, etc.)
- Experience teaching online.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
