Responsibilities:

Plains Regional Medical Center is looking for a Food Services Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure our cafeteria runs smoothly and provides healthy meals for patients, staff, and visitors.

The Manager will plan, coordinate and control operations within the Food Services department. This position is responsible for maintaining processes and systems as well as the coordination and supervision of personnel.

Work Schedule: Weekday Schedule Monday-Friday.

$10,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified candidates, plus relocation stipend available

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Directing and coordinating employee daily activities, potentially in multiple facilities.
  • Planning and supervising daily activities, training of safety and education and attending educational forums.
  • Recommending program strategies to implement strategies and policies and procedures for operations.
  • Evaluate, maintain and monitor the performance of the department.
  • Understand departmental operating budget, ensure operations are within budget.
  • Establish responsibilities for each employee and ensure employees understand expectations.

Qualifications:

High school degree required.
Additional certification/vocational training/higher education preferred in related field.
Three to five years management experience, management in a heath care setting preferred.
