Position Details:

  • 4 day -10hr shift Monday - Thursday, 4:15pm - 3:00am

What You Will Do:

  • Use tools and hands to assemble components in the manufacturing process as per company drawing and technical specs, in accordance with all quality and safety protocols.

  • Operate machinery in assembly area

  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels

  • Read and follow mechanical drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), written and verbal work instruction

  • Assembly Line Builds

  • Fulfill work orders based on customer demand

  • Inspect incoming material for defects

  • Complete RMA, when needed, and work with Quality to resolve issues with the vendor

  • Willingness to grow & learn

  • Able to change directions quickly and efficiently

  • Good mechanical aptitude

  • Basic tool skills, including the ability to use precision measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers and micrometers, etc.)

  • Basic organizational and time management skills

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Drug and alcohol test

  • Criminal background check

  • Education verification

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • 2 years of successful manufacturing shop experience.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Good computer skills

  • Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Commitment to work overtime as needed

  • Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative, and productivity

  • Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints

  • Basic knowledge of machine tools

  • Use of micrometers, calipers, and other common shop tools

  • Must be able to read and comprehend manufacturing documents and other company publications related to the job and all safety notifications

  • Must be a reliable worker with good work references, including a good attendance history, and must work required over time during times of increased business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with machine tools

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds and standing or walking in the work area for most of the day is a requirement of the job.

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

  • Stand for up to 8 hours or more.

  • Perform repetitive motions throughout process.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle/ feel and reach with hands and arms.
