Description

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels.

  • Perform sub-assembly as needed, and final assembly acceptance test operations.
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
  • Knowledge of basic electronics and trouble shooting.
  • Ability to follow procedures without deviation in any way unless documentation is available to allow deviation, such as a waiver or quality event.
  • Perform any other job related task as assigned by management procedures.
  • Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Associate's degree. in Electronics discipline preferred plus two (2) years progressively responsible experience as an Electronic Technician experience or similar role
  • In lieu of a degree, 4 years of instrument manufacturing experience or electronic technician experience also accepted
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.
  • Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
  • Temporary modification to provide reasonable accommodations does not waive essential functions of the job requirements.
