SON Combest IT Support Technician II Lubbock 39963BR Position Description The IT Support Technician II's scope includes providing technical support and assistance to departments, faculty, staff, and students with the use of basic hardware and some software support and maintenance. This position will also specialize in hardware and software relevant to the department or unit. The IT Support Technician II's scope includes providing technical support and assistance to departments, faculty, staff, and students with the use of basic hardware and some software support and maintenance. Major/Essential Functions This IT position supports the TTUHSC SON Combest clinics and programs with IT needs. Duties consist of identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technology issues for users of computer software and hardware. Able to provide technology support in a call center environment and communicate clear solutions to end-users. Primary scope of responsibilities:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus one (1) year related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
