John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking to add a Global Technology and Innovation Director to our Engineering and Technology team. The preference is for this role to be based in Tulsa, OK USA, but we are open to a remote scenario for the right candidate. This role is responsible for sharing and executing the technology strategy that supports our engineer-to-order manufacturing environment. The Global Technology and Innovation Director will lead a team of engineers and technologists to develop cutting-edge solutions that enhance product performance, streamline processes, and drive competitive advantage in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, significant experience in the oil and gas industry, and a proven track record of leading technical/product-drive transformation. What You Will Do: Technology Strategy Development: * Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals and client objectives. * Identify emerging technologies and trends that can enhance our product offerings. Innovation and R&D Leadership: * Lead research and development initiatives to create innovative solutions that meet customer demands and industry standards. * Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technical team and broader organization. * Oversee the innovation development process to ensure the successful delivery of product developments towards successful market launch. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into product designs. Technical Expertise and Guidance: * Provide expert guidance on technical matters related to product development, engineering, and design. * technology development * Drive innovation by exploring the art of the possible, continuously identifying and advocating for the next-step advancements to maintain a competitive edge. Value Capture and Resource Allocation: * Value focused innovation through cost reporting, capturing learning, and efficient use of allocating and utilizing resources. * Optimize investment in technology to maximize return and drive business growth. The Experience You Will Bring Requirements (Basic Qualifications): * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline. * Proven experience in a technology leadership role within the oil & gas industry. * Technical experience in the areas of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and combustion. * Travel up to 25% What Will Put You Ahead * Proven ability to act as a technical visionary, with a track record of identifying and advancing innovative solutions * MBA or Master's degree in Engineering * 10+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role * Demonstrated aptitude in adaptability and agility, with a keen awareness of broader technical areas to effectively respond to evolving challenges and opportunities. * Demonstrated success in leading R&D teams and managing complex engineering projects * Experience in an engineer-to-order environment At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
