Job Description

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to support and expand a suite of businessweb services and applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in front-end technologies, back-end development, and a deep understanding of relational databases. Candidate must be an effective communicator to interact with a variety of stakeholders to understand their needs, generate users' stories and develop future requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern technologies such as ASP.NET Core, C#, and JavaScript.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to improve code reliability and quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work in an Agile development environment, participate in sprint planning, code reviews and team meetings.
• Supervise other developers.

Direct the development effort, including managing backlog priorities and testing

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Experience building web applications with ASP.NET Core and C#
• Experience with Entity Framework Core
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and front-end JavaScript frameworks (React)
• Familiarity with Razor Pages
• Knowledge of SQL Server and optimization of SQL queries
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience integrating with Deltek products (Costpoint and Time & Expense)
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker)
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with Telerik Kendo controls.
• Project lead experience
