Description

This position is responsible for all the following:



  • Work every scheduled work day including weekends and overtime as required.
  • Maintain and install systems, applications, security and telecommunications.
  • Work with end-users to develop an understanding of their needs and develop solutions to meet business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Analyze and diagnose problems reported by end-users.
  • Develop & maintain process and procedure documentation.
  • Interact with vendors on support agreements and issue escalations.
  • Understanding of systems hardware and software Asset Management processes.
  • Ability to contribute to the team by fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, bills of material, and work instructions as necessary to perform each assigned task.
  • Perform all tasks per established quality and efficiency standards.
  • Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.
  • Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes or materials.
  • Work with Engineering and controls team to make sure the correct revisions and updates are communicated and being used.
  • Observe and communicate with electrical supervisor for proper electrical practices and installs.
  • Provide assistance with redlines to communicate back to Engineering to allow changes on the floor.
  • Become familiar with operating equipment to have a good understanding of how the settings in the controls affects the equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



SKILL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
  • Proficient in electrical techniques and use of the equipment/tools required to accomplish the process.
  • Proficient in common DC 12 and 24 volt circuits.
  • Proficient in reading and troubleshooting electrical schematics
  • Proficient in basic material handling techniques.
  • Proficient in using multi-meter and various other tools for troubleshooting electrical circuits.
  • Proficient in diagnostic tools and programs to trouble shoot equipment. This includes: Engine, Transmissions, control programs, flowmeters, and other sensors used on oil and gas equipment.


    • Capable of operating equipment.
    • Ability to receive both written and verbal assignments.
    • Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
    • Effective and willing communicator.
    • Strong team player.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    QUALIFICATIONS:



    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Creativity, initiative, detail-oriented, results-focused
    • Self-motivated and can work with moderate direction and mentoring.
    • Personal motivation for success.
    • High School Diploma, GED.
    • Vocational school/training or 5 years experience in related field.
    • Must have the ability to interact with users of varying computer aptitudes.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, set priorities, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.



    WORK ENVIRONMENT:



    • The performance of this position will require exposure to areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.
    • For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.



    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



    • Sit or Stand as needed
    • Standing and walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day
    • Reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting as required within limits set by Entrans International LLC.



    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



    • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
    • Professionalism, flexibility, critical thought process and creativity
    • Ability to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow.
    • Project management experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment) will be an asset.
    • Regular and reliable attendance
    • Regular contact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization
    • Travel will be expected as needed. Able to travel within North America
    • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    • Follow appropriate dress code.
