- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive Program Coordination experience.
- Experience in program and project management necessary to provide support for the wellness projects.
- Excellent diplomacy and judgment to represent UC Davis in situations with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated political acumen to work in an executive-level office environment. Ability to represent the OWE Leadership Team with tact and discretion to all constituents. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make effective decisions based on knowledge of campus and University priorities, resources, and policies.
- Technical skills necessary to support website content creation and management, social media outreach and webinars. Must have experience in data management and file transfer. Premier Pro experience desired.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills to effectively and professionally communicate in person, investigative skills to elicit information needed to clarify inquiries and requests; and professional skills to handle sensitive or difficult situations diplomatically, and to work effectively and sensitively with constituents from diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior staff and faculty from within and outside the University and the ability to think strategically and serve as a sounding board.
- Resourcefulness and judgement to anticipate problems/roadblocks and associated consequences and taking appropriate initiative on behalf of Executives.
- Ability to exercise analytical and problem-solving skills to research, collect analyze and interpret data and to anticipate consequences of decisions and recommendations.

The incumbent will work with leadership and staff on small teams to support launch initiatives that include the Schools of Health, UC Davis Health, and the Davis campus as well as partnerships with community-based business partners, and collaborators, with a high level of project and program coordination, development, and communications focus.
Under the guidance the Executive Director, the incumbent will independently manage short and long-term deadlines; coordinate with external stakeholders; support complex projects such as curriculum competency development; work with leadership regarding content creation and distribution; and present in meetings and sessions. The incumbent will apply problem-solving techniques and exercise diplomacy to achieve the program goals. They will prepare program reports and recommendations for program stakeholders.
This is a Full-Time position and will be expected to work onsite at the Education Building/Center for Health and Technology, Mon-Friday.
