Responsibilities Position Summary: Provide quality and professional EMT care for patients in office. Be available to respond to emergency situations when necessary. Essential Functions: Perform emergency care to patients when necessary. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with standards Adhere to Motor Vehicle Safety Policy Administer or assist with injections, phlebotomy and IV starts on patients Perform stress testing in accordance with protocol Monitor patient for arrhythmia, blood pressure, ECG changes, and report findings Respond appropriately during cardiac arrest situations by utilizing necessary ACLS knowledge and skills Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information. Post tests and examination results Participate in professional development and maintain professional affiliations Skill in maintaining record and recording test results Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties Knowledge of emergency procedures. Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in an emergency situation Adhere to Radiation Safety Guidelines as required by OK DEQ Qualifications Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Graduated from an accredited Paramedic training school. Licensure/Certification: Re Possession of an Oklahoma Paramedic license. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification required Experience: One (1) year of professional Paramedic experienc Cardiology experience preferred.
