Land Aquisition Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Acquisition Intern to join our team. This internship will offer hands-on experience in land acquisition processes and provide valuable insights into the real estate industry. Candidate will be located in Charlotte, NC and prepared to work onsite directly with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwriting Deals:



  • Assist in underwriting potential multifamily development opportunities.


  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations based on findings.


  • Research site characteristics, zoning, and building permit fees.


Market Research:



  • Conduct general research on new and emerging markets to identify opportunities.


  • Gather and analyze market data to support strategic decision-making.


Team Support:



  • Provide support to the Land Acquisition Team in their daily tasks.


  • Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to acquisitions.


Sourcing Land Sites:



  • Identify and source potential land sites for future acquisition.


  • Compile and maintain a database of prospective sites and their relevant details.
