As we look to redefine expectations across our four key therapeutic areas, we need experienced, entrepreneurial-minded leaders to help us on this journey. GSK's Organized Provider team is looking for a Director, Organized Provider Market Analytics.

The Organized Provider Account Strategy (OPAS) team within the US Market Access is tasked with developing the strategy and engagement model required to drive enterprise performance and capitalize on growth potential in a critical customer segment: large, sophisticated Organized Providers (Health Systems). We are approaching enterprise collaborations differently to address patient-centered needs and deliver mutual benefits to GSK, to Organized Providers and to patients.

This position is a highly visible role within the OPAS and Market Access teams, reporting to the Customer Engagement Lead. This role is responsible for thorough customer and competitor analytics to drive strategic planning and account plan development.

This role requires strong communication skills, data analytics experience and familiarity with connecting analytics to business decisions by interacting with several functions, including, Market Access Strategy, Operations & Analytics, other Market Access & Brand Account teams, Finance, Forecasting, Commercial Insights, and external vendors to gain marketplace insights and continually update data sets and tools.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following.

  • Support optimization of the Organized Provider Account team and execution through the delivery of end-to-end diagnosis and analysis, resulting in a clear performance narrative.
  • Provide analysis on key customer metrics and competitive environment to inform and monitor account level and account team KPIs.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain individual integrated account level analytics, strategic account plan executive summaries, quarterly business reviews with accounts, and a visual management system that aligns all stakeholders to performance, opportunities and challenges of the account teams
  • Support account teams in making data-driven business decisions for their markets & accounts, including but not limited to contract performance, sales performance, market share leadership, etc. as appropriate
  • Challenge thinking, create cause to modify / change assumptions or actions and influence innovation with Organized Providers resulting in informed decision-making across the GSK portfolio and enhanced execution plans by the field teams.
  • Drive connectivity across data sets to develop business insights and support OPAS LT in assessing account level performance vs. targets
  • Prepare financial analyses, business cases and 'what-if' scenarios to support various strategic initiatives at account level.
  • Identify, scope and execute complete analytics package to support all analytics and reporting needs along with the Account-based Solutions team while collaborating closely with partners in Market Access and US Commercial Insights & Analytics
  • Work with OPALs and HSDs on any data-related needs arising with Organized Providers according to appropriate guidelines and SOPs
  • Collaborate closely with Account-based solutions team to ensure seamless flow of information, learnings, and insights to enhance team effectiveness and inform strategy

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical or other healthcare industry experience (e.g., Account management, Business Insights, Marketing, Strategy, Consulting)
  • At least 2 years experience in defining, tracking, and analyzing key performance measures with a remit to make appropriate data-driven decisions.
  • At least 2 years experience in developing, executing and maintaining strategic business plans.
  • Ability to travel 30%+ nationally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct line and or matrix leadership experience
  • Business appropriate communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional matrix partners on key strategies and business plans.
  • Experience influencing without direct authority across cross-functional teams, working effectively in complex situations.
  • Listens then incorporates/provides different perspectives across medical, clinical, commercial, customer and other functions.
  • Generates multiple novel ideas, solutions, and strategic options to deliver long-term benefits to customers and GSK.
  • Understanding of reimbursement and operational models for large integrated health systems in the US, including payer & policy influences
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the managed care industry and healthcare trends
  • Understanding of the laws and regulations covering providers and payers Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) in unstructured and fluid situations .
