Position Summary: The Human Resources Talent Acquisition Coordinator facilitates sees through implementing all phases of the recruitment/outreach process. This professional executes recruitment plans and strategies to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent, create positive candidate and employee experiences, and champion UBT's employer of choice brand. This role emphasizes outreach efforts to attract candidates through various channels, including social media, job fairs, and university partnerships.
This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Part-Time Hours: Flexible 25 - 32Hours per week. Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. May require some flexibility in hours for occasional career fair events. Part-Time 30 Hours and above includes eligibility for full insurance benefits.

Essential Functions:



  • Collaborates regularly and timely with hiring managers to assess current and future recruiting needs.
  • Executes efficient and effective recruiting methods and education while championing a differentiated, exceptional internal/external experience.
  • Provides a customer-focused service to employees and hiring leaders, responding promptly to inquiries received through the Recruitment inbox and fielding others appropriately.
  • Proactively conducts candidate sourcing activities for both passive and active candidates ensuring that qualified candidate pools and pipelines are created and filled with diverse candidates that hold the necessary experience, skills and culture fit.
  • Evaluates prospective candidates, oversees, and tracks candidate activity in applicant tracking system, coordinates interview logistics, and conducts prescreening interviews for job fit and fit of UBT culture.
  • Executes recruitment strategy to ensure job posting optimization through appropriate various medias (i.e., website, job boards, colleges, social networks, newspapers).
  • Collaborates with Human Resources associates and hiring managers on job descriptions, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Extends offers, negotiations, and turns downs with positive professionalism.
  • Leads, coordinates, and represents UBT at recruiting initiatives and events (i.e., career and job fairs) and gives presentations to build employer-of-choice brand and campus visibility. (i.e., UNL, Nebraska Wesleyan, SCC, and other schools.)
  • Manages onboarding assignments for new hires, coordinates background investigation of selected candidates, and keeps recruiting and candidate records up to date. (i.e., maintain and upload all documentation to excel, applicant tracking system, DocuSign, Director software)
  • Participates in recruiting data maintenance.
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition and Inclusion Officer and Wellbeing Officer as needed.
  • Understands and adheres to all UBT policies, federal, state and local laws and regulations applicable to their role. Completes compliance training and follows internal processes and controls as required.
  • Reports all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in UBT's policies.
  • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or comparable and HR/Recruiting administration experience strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience with ideally full cycle recruiting preferred.
  • Experience with a Human Capital Management (HCM) and applicant tracking system required.
  • General Working knowledge of various employment laws and practices as well as Affirmative Action and OFCCP.
  • Previous banking experience a plus.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and in working with other UBT software.
  • Valid Nebraska Driver's license.

Working Environment:



  • Indoor work - not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
  • Some sedentary work and lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds.
  • Work schedule includes some evenings.
  • Some travel required.
