Job SummaryOperates and monitors equipment for media preparation, purification, and aseptic operations, and ensures adherence to good manufacturing practices and safety guidelines in biochemical manufacturing.
Responsibilities
The Specialist performs some or all of the following accountabilities as assigned:
* Preparing media, fermentation, cell culture, buffer solutions, purification, aseptic operations, cleaning and preparation of autoclaves, glassware and components. * Cleaning, sterilizing, batching, and monitoring of tanks and fermenters. * Operating filtration, fill-finish, and liquid chromatography equipment. * Operating computers for process control and data entry * Following standard operating procedures and GMP guidelines. * Recognizing and reporting abnormal events or circumstances.
