About the Role

Culmen International is hiring a Quality Knowledge Management Analyst to provide support for the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) and will be onsite in Bethesda, MD.

The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) improves the lives of service members with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other invisible wounds of war through excellence in TBI clinical care, research, and education.

NICoE is part of DoD's initiative to foster an enabling environment that ensures our warfighters and public servants have a clear point of entry to the care system. NICoE provides a clear path through diagnosis, treatment, and reintegration. As a Center of Excellence NICoE provides patients with reassurance that they have consistent access to high quality TBI treatment, research, and education.

Role Summary

Responsible for development and implementation of knowledge, information, and quality management standards and processes, in line with WRNMMC and DOD guidelines. Responsible for driving compliance and innovation within PMO organization. Responsible for analyzing information management systems and providing recommendations for improvement. Responsible for ensuring organizational compliance.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

Responsibilities

* Maintain and provide recommendations to improve existing guidance and quality management tools

* Recommend and support the implementation of quality improvement plans in line with the organization's mission and goals

* Conduct analysis on existing organizational quality and information systems and evaluate effectiveness

* Develop a robust roadmap strategy for implementing quality management systems, processes and procedures

* Create, capture, organize, and assess knowledge assets for enterprise use

* Develop and support implementation of standard civil-military operational templates and systems to standardize communication and document creation.

* Provide training and resources to staff members on quality improvement techniques and best practices

* Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare quality and safety standards and regulations

* Collaborate with IT to ensure the compliance to knowledge systems

* Regularly audit knowledge assets to ensure accuracy and relevance.

* Facilitate communication and collaboration among different departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement

* Manage and oversee quality improvement projects

* Other Administrative tasks as necessary in support of PMO and NICoE Executive Office



Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years professional experience OR 3+ years relevant professional work experience
  • Evidence of quality or knowledge management experience
  • Proficiency with knowledge management software (e.g., SharePoint, M365)
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills


Desired Qualifications

  • Certifications in quality or knowledge management
  • Experience developing or implementing quality management systems
  • Experience with federal auditing
  • Project management skills or PMO experience
  • Military or DoD experience
  • Healthcare experience

The determination of compensation at Culmen International, LLC is based on various factors such as location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, clearance level, experience, internal equity, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
