The Analytics Transformation Lead is responsible for assisting in the transforming and optimizing of Surface & Surveillance operations across the Enhanced Oil Recovery Business Unit (EOR BU). This team aids in enabling more efficient decision-making and optimizing production processes. By leveraging data, this team is responsible for building tools that can predict equipment failures, optimize drilling operations, and enhance reservoir management, leading to reduced downtime and increased profitability. The advanced analytics also facilitates real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance, ensuring safer and more reliable operations. Additionally, data-driven insights help in minimizing environmental impact by improving resource management and reducing emissions. This role will support to achieve the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Staffing structures and role separation to including level of workforce needs depending on Business Plan OPEX and CAPEX activity levels and funding. Ideal structure weill maximize staff on our growth assets while maintaining compliance for marginal Assets
  • Develop tools or linkages between tools to reduce manual task between our systems. (Nexxus, SAP,WaRs,etc)
  • Build and share best practices / standards and new tools for RMT and Surveillance operations.
  • Lead focus teams across EOR for efficiency gains within current work flow process
  • Develop OSPI tools to improve surveillance operations across EOR.
  • Lead implementation of OSPI tools across EOR.
  • Develop new data analytics tools to help us identify opportunities
  • Lead a team to assist in the control room data analytics
  • Identifying and prioritizing card interpterion tools to minimize human analysis and interaction.
  • Assisting in capturing Asset Teams feedback around ideas to continually innovate and strive to improve the value captured from the asset's operations.
  • Assist Asset Teams in achieving improved work life balance for staffing
  • Assisting in identifying lift strategies for marginal and new LCV/Carb Assets
  • Building a future water management strategy to tie Assets together
  • Responsible to ensure adherence to Company Policies, Standards, Procedures, and Guidelines, as well as all applicable laws within the asset's operations
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the petroleum industry or 15+ years in production and automation operations, EOR operations preferred.
Professional and Technical Knowledge/Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications:
  • Demonstrated safety leadership skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering and operating principles required, recognized accomplishments in production, facilities, drilling, completions or reservoir engineering or production operations
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of economic analysis, risk assessment, and value capture
  • Demonstrated understanding of required business processes and regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of project management skills
  • Experience working in organizations with multi-discipline staffs
  • Detailed understanding of multiple artificial lift types, applications, design criteria and options with gas lift, beam and ESP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills managing multi-disciplined teams
    • Strong communication and networking skills with ability to influence without direct authority
    • Ability to build effective teams
    • Demonstrated quality decision making ability
    • Drive for results, sense of accountability for both personal and team performance
  • Demonstrated creativity in problem solving and ability to implement new ideas
  • Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity, effectively acts without having complete picture.
The salary range for this position is:$ 136,800 - $ 188,100 Annual
