Pipe Fitter
1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
$27-$35/hour based on experience
Job Description:
As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an experienced pipe fitter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Study and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of piping systems.
* Select, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications using various tools and equipment.
* Assemble and install piping systems according to design specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
* Conduct tests and inspections to ensure the integrity and functionality of the piping system. Identify and rectify any issues or leaks.
* Work closely with other construction professionals, such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians, to ensure the integration of piping systems with other building components.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the appropriate corrective actions.
* Adhere to safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including as-built drawings, material lists, and equipment specifications.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a pipe fitter, with a strong understanding of piping systems and construction practices.
* Welding is preferred
* Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
* Knowledge of various pipe materials and their applications.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Physical strength and stamina for lifting and working in various conditions.
