Job Title: Software Engineer III

Location: 3680 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38125

Job Description: Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. The position requires experience with: Java (REST API, Web Services, Spring Boot, Microservices). Power BI. SOAP (JavaScript). Unit testing (Power Mockito). Integrated Development Environment (IDE, Eclipse, VS Code). Insomina. Go language. MySQL. Podman containers. Git/Github and code versioning. Maven. Gradle. Cloud technologies- Infrastructure as a service(Iaas) and Platform as a service(PaaS). Powershell. Apache server. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Memphis, TN.
