The Brand Manager will serve a critical role in establishing the Mass General Brigham brand and supporting the rollout of the brand across all members in the system. As a Mass General Brigham brand expert, this role will manage various aspects of the brand and visual design including the development and management of brand policy guidelines, brand resources, and training, and providing brand implementation guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
Reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy, this individual manages numerous projects, large and small, independently or in collaboration with other members of the Brand & Creative team, the central Marketing and Communications team, leadership, teams across the system, and other external partnerships to advance Mass General Brigham's marketing, communications, and business goals.
- Brand guidelines and training:
- Develops brand policy guidelines and other resources in collaboration with theBrand & Creative team and brand agency as needed.
- Manages brand trainings and presentationsto a broad range of stakeholders, from the development of the training content to conducting the trainings.
- Brand implementation:
- Serves as a key brand expert working with stakeholders from across the system, vendors, and agencies, andprovides overarching brand implementation guidance for digital, print, and other assets and channels.
- Leads brand consultation and review of co-branded and other third-party use of the brand, stationery, promotional items, work wear, signage, etc. in collaboration with the brand agency and vendors as needed.
- Consults on rebrand rollouts including planning and facilitation of brand implementation questions.
- Manages brand administrative processes including the branding inbox.
- Provides general support to the development of the system brand by supporting various brand marketing activities. This could include but is not limited to supporting planning, project management, and execution of system brand marketing activities.
- Digital Asset Management:
- Manages creative assets (including templates, creative files, and illustration, icon, and photo libraries) and workflow processes within the digital brand center in collaboration with the Brand & Creative team.
- Assists with the brand management system implementation set up and ongoing trainings.

Other duties as assigned and the above may evolve considering the needs and goals of our department. Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years in a similar role with relevant work experience in marketing, working on high-visibility marketing and branding - preferably in a consumer-driven business.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced environment, organizes and prioritizes work, and meets deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; uses planning tools and standards to effectively manage clients and projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Skills:
- Experience with managing brand guidelines and creative assets (photography, illustrations, and other graphics/art files).
- Highly motivated and team focused with the ability to manage multiple projects and project teams comprising internal and external parties.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to effectively communicate, collaborate, and problem solve with cross functional teams and various stakeholders.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas with straightforward, sophisticated presentations to all stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Experience with managing vendors/agencies/freelancers including the budget/contracting process.
A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
- Remote position with some onsite, required meetings.
- Possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites.
