Scrum Masters are members of the Agile Center (AC) and work under the guidance and leadership of the Manager - Scrum Masters. Sr. Scrum Masters come with at least 4+ years of full-time business experience, are selected for this development opportunity and after proper mentoring and training are given a single Agile Squad, and work to ensure their Agile Squad learns about, comes up to speed with, and are successful with Agile Scrum. They seek to build a working environment that enables their Agile Squad to form, storm, and norm into a high-performing Agile Squad that can deliver business value and good products/ outputs, in an Agile manner. Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Scrum Squads receive Agile training and coaching Support from the Agile Center. Scrum Masters ensure all Scrum sprint ceremonies are effectively facilitated for their Agile Squad to ensure these ceremonies are well run and are adding value to their Agile Squad and its corresponding stakeholders. These ceremonies include Product Backlog Refinement, Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Daily Standups, Sprint Demonstrations, and Sprint Retrospectives. Scrum Masters should have a general understanding of their Scrum Squad's Product Backlog, and will work closely with the Product Owner and Agile Squad to help ensure User Stories meet the stated Definition of Ready (DoR), and Acceptance Criteria(AC), and are delivered with quality. Scrum Masters will also play a key role in resolving business and Agile Squad conflicts, helping to remove impediments at the Agile Squad level, raise impediments that cannot be resolved at the Agile Squad level, and shield their Agile Squad from external distractions and requests for work or support. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistentlyidentifying,assessing,managing,monitoring,andreporting risks of all types. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* . Train, coach, and mentor their Product Owner and Scrum Team on how to implement and use Agile best practices and techniques . Ability to effectively coach an Agile Squad . Ensure facilitated Scrum Ceremonies for their Agile Squad to include: o Product Backlog Refinement o Release Planning o Sprint Planning o Sprint Daily Standups o Sprint Demonstration o Sprint Retrospectives . Where possible facilitate the removal of Agile Squad impediments (e.g. cultural barriers, logistic challenges, coordination w/other Agile Squads and teams) . When needed, escalate Agile Squad impediments to appropriate organizational entities. . Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None *MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:* . 4+ years of fulltime business experience . Strong oral, and written communication, and coaching skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts . Able to resolve conflicts - strong mediator . Active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and maximize potential . Assertive, with the confidence to influence . Brings energy and passion to the job and can influence those around her/him . Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a sustainable & effective workplace . Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement . Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field All *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Nice to have:* - Regulatory Reporting experience (Not necessarily from the financial industry, but some type of domain knowledge would be a plus) - Banking experience *Additional Skills & Qualifications* SAFe is a plus *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
